PAROKYA, KAMIKAZEE US-Bound
A few days after its successful major concert at the Folk Arts Theater, Parokya ni Edgar embarked on a coast-to-coast US live concert tour with Kamikazee.    Â
The band’s series of performances started at the Pearl City Cultural Center in Honolulu, Hawaii last Sept.8. The next day, Parokya and Kamikazee played to an S.R.O. crowd at Baldwin High School Auditorium in Maui. Its sell-out concert at the Slimac’s Theater, San Francisco, California last Sept. 15, is still a much talked-about event.
    Last Sept. 21, Parokya ni Edgar and Kamikazee wowed the crowd at Epicentre, San Diego, California. They moved to another S.R.O. affair at El Rey Theater inLos Angeles the following day and performed at Cheyenne Saloon in Las Vegas.
    Reports say tickets are moving fast for Parokya and Kamikazee’s concert at the Congress Theater in Chicago on Sept.28
    The Landmark in Jersey City, New Jersey will be the venue of the Parokya/Kamikazee back-to-back concert on Sept.29.
    The last day of the twin-bill concert will be at the State Theater in Washington D.C. on Sept. 30. Kamikazee leaves for Manila after the show while Parokya topbills another concert at the Stafford Civic Center, Stafford, Texas.
    Upon its return to the country, Parokya will finish a new album for Universal Records.
