PLANT HR MANAGER
(National Capital Reg - Metro Manila)

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the HR Department on hiring, developing and maintaining talents while strengthening the Company’s culture & values and supporting the advancement of the company’s business objectives.
• Partners with the management in the development and implementaton of HR plans that support the business objectives.
• Designs, implements and administers corporate programs such as compensation, benefits, labor relations, performance management, and the like.
• Partners with business groups in recruiting prospective and in developing current employees.
• Leads initiative in partnering with Union and in the implementation and administration of programs aimed to ensure healthy Union-Management relationship.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a degree in Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Industrial Relations or similar discipline. MBA degree or Llb is an advantage.
• At least five(5) years experience in HR Management and Development in a managerial capacity in a unionized environment.
• Adept in labor laws and in dealing with union.
• Must possess good communication, influencing, problem-solving and customer service skills plus the ability to adapt to change.
• Must have the ability to work well in group, must possess strong leadership skills
• Will to be assigned in Taguig City

The humble card and stationery shop of 1984 known as Central Bookstore in Cubao has evolved into Your Affordable School & Office Supplies Store with the name Expressions. Two decades to date and Expressions has been delivering the right merchandise at the right time with more than 30 outlets all over the country…and still growing.

Offering quality yet affordable school and office supplies has become its mainstream. It has continued to serve the delight of the young and the young at heart for novelties, toys, greeting cards, stationery, albums, and decors for all seasons, and other fun items.

In 1997, Expressions saw the need to include in its services, internet & computer services. The demands for these resulted in the creation of ExCeL.

Excel allowed customers to have easy access to the internet, avail of desktop designs & printing & use the PC to prepare personal documents.

As one of the pioneers in providing internet access to the general public. ExCeL perfectly compliments the Expressions merchandise mix. Being a school & office supplies store, Expressions wanted to complete the learning experience of its customers by providing electronic access to information and communication. From its initial branch in Isetann Cinerama Complex, it has now grown to over 45 branches nationwide.

Another milestone in the history of Expressions took place on October 21, 1999. Mart One “Your Discount Store” opened its doors to shoppers with its first branch in Pasig. It is a real bargain find. Mart One provides branded value merchandise at the lowest prices making it the place to shop for smart buyer.

Mart One carries branded and low – priced house wares, toys, apparels, shoes, bags and accessories. Customers’ stationery needs are supplied by Expressions conveniently located inside every Mart One Stores. Today, Mart One can be found in Olongapo, San Fernando City in La Union, Laoag, Tuguegarao, Santiago Isabela, Dumaguete, Vigan & Cauayan Isabela.

In October 2003, Expressions surprised its customers with a new “look,” starting with its Ever Gotesco – Commonwealth branch. With youthful and bright colors using various tones of reds, greens, and oranges akin to the color of the Expressions insignia; there are now more and more stores to welcome everyone with very attractive interiors, designed for the customers who never forget how it feels to be young.

Expressions aims to be the community’s partner in providing high quality products and excellent customer service at a minimum cost. Whether it be the need for daily essentials such as brand clothing, school and office supplies or computer services, we shall be the “People’s Partner” in each community.
