Piping Engineers/ Designers

• Responsible in the preparation of major piping layout, MTO sketch, and 3D CAD modeling of piping system, equipment and structure, and interference detection.
• Has the technical responsibility for interpreting and evaluating stress/vibration result, for reviewing piping layout, and piping information, for reviewing piping engineering progress against approved schedule, for evaluating changes and taking corrective action when required, for providing technical guidance, and for organizing, executing and coordinating these responsibilities to ensure timely completion that meets project schedule and budget.
• Acts as Lead Engineer of the project as designated by the Manager and performs the function inherent to this position..

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must be a graduate of BS Engineering course in any field or BS Architecture
• With five (5) years or more work experience in piping layout and design; stress evaluation; production work; 3D modeling review and construction engineering support in an Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Consulting, Engineering or related ndustry
• Must have knowledge in 2D/ 3D CAD, or PDS software or related software
• Must have strong leadership skills, analytical ability and self-motivated
• Willing to be assigned in Muntinlupa City

Control Systems Engineer
(National Capital Reg - Pasig City)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing technical support, consultation and remote diagnostics for the DeltaV/PlantWeb systems for systems in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa, North America and Latin America end user customers and engineering organizations.
• This involves troubleshooting, problem analysis and providing solutions to hardware, software, installation, configuration, integration and application inquires.
• Successfully works to reduce product problem resolution time and initiates and supports efforts to develop training and troubleshooting resources (e.g. procedures, diagnostics, and documentation).
• Communicates & coordinates with Emerson Business Partners and Field Service Organizations worldwide, Technology, Marketing and Manufacturing to resolve customer product problems at a local and global level, correct product issues, and gives input on product direction.
• Maintains ownership of all customer problems received provides timely updates and sets the escalation priority.

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Chemical, Electrical, Communications or Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering Degrees.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in process control or process engineering in one or more of the following process industries: hydrocarbon processing, oil & gas, pulp & paper, boiler control, specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical or food & beverage or power generation.
• Working knowledge on process engineering, control system configuration, third-party integration and startup of process control projects
• Expertise in configuring or operating DCS, PLC, or SCADA systems.
• Exposure to discrete and continuous or batch controls, PC based MMI, Advanced Controls, Fieldbus or field instrumentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems and write technical descriptions of the results.
• Knowledge of computer networking, Visual Basic, Windows (XP/2003) operating system,
• Excellent spoken and written English; knowledge of other foreign language (Spanish, Mandarin or Japanese) is an advantage
• Willing to work on shift schedule
• The candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to learn new skills, is a self-starter and has a desire to be challenged.

Responsibilities:

• Sharing and achieving the Distribution and Capex and Maintenance targets for the Philippines and North Pacific Cluster;

Requirements:

• Possess a good engineering degree from a reputable university. Post-graduation qualifications and experience should be an added advantage;
• Have at least 15 years’ experience in distribution or manufacturing environment, of which at least 5 years’ must be in engineering management positions;
• Have experience working in the Philippines and have a good knowledge of the diversed local cultures;
• Posses sound engineering and technical skills, and technical management skills relevant to terminal engineering functions;
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for this position;
• Good Contracts, Maintenance and Project Management experience for both large and multi-small projects;
• Good mentoring and training management abilities;
• Must have exhibited leadership and team-building skills in past jobs of a similar nature;
• Authorisation to work in Philippines is required for this position.
