Distribution Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:
- Sharing and achieving the Distribution and Capex and Maintenance targets for the Philippines and North Pacific Cluster;
- Ensure all Construction and Maintenance HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) targets are met in the execution of engineering works;
- Drive the Asset Management System in Distribution and Commercial businesses;
- Responsible for the development and competence of distribution project engineering group, actively supporting the development and implementation of the Job Competency Profiling of engineering staff;
- Liaise closely with Contract & Procurement in coming up with regional and/or Philippines agreements for procurement of common goods and services;
- Continually be seeking improvements to organisation, performance and cost savings to ensure the business remains competitive.
Requirements:
- Possess a good engineering degree from a reputable university. Post-graduation qualifications and experience should be an added advantage;
- Have at least 15 years’ experience in distribution or manufacturing environment, of which at least 5 years’ must be in engineering management positions;
- Have experience working in the Philippines and have a good knowledge of the diversed local cultures;
- Posses sound engineering and technical skills, and technical management skills relevant to terminal engineering functions;
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for this position;
- Good Contracts, Maintenance and Project Management experience for both large and multi-small projects;
- Good mentoring and training management abilities;
- Must have exhibited leadership and team-building skills in past jobs of a similar nature;
- Authorisation to work in Philippines is required for this position.
