Programmer

Responsibilities:
- The position is responsible for writing, testing and maintaining developed application/s implemented in the company. Interprets project specification into detailed logical flow for coding into computer language and writing computer programs to store, locate and retrieve specific information.
- Translate the solutions provided into detailed program specifications.
- Analyses the objectives and clarify the specifics of the requirements
- Undertakes program design activities including definition of the data and error message arrangements.
- Modifies and documents program codes to correct errors or to enhance a program’s capabilities.
- Code, test, update, maintain the program and correct error/s by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced.
- Prepares reports on the status of projects assigned.
- Ensures prompt and satisfactory service to the company’s internal and external customers.
- Recommends necessary and productive changes or improvements to immediate superior.
- Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Minimal 3 years working experience on Information Technology – IT Programmer.
- Proficient in developing applications with the following tools – PHP, MySQL or any Open Source RDBMS, OpenOffice.
- Background in FoxPro (DOS) or CLIPPER is an advantage.
- Customer service oriented and above average communication skills.
- Result oriented and updated with the current technological trends.
- Can relate to different levels of organization and has a professional bearing.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
